Delete your account
You can close your Sathidaak account at any time. This page explains what happens, and lets you do it.
What gets deleted
- Your name, phone number, email address and emergency contact.
- Your Aadhaar verification, and every photo you uploaded for it.
- Your posted trips, and any request still waiting on them.
- Your saved devices, so notifications stop.
What is kept, and why
- Deliveries that already happened. They are the other person's record of their own parcel too, so they are not ours alone to erase.
- Entries for money that has already moved, which we are required to keep for accounting and tax.
Neither of these keeps your name or number attached to it once your account is closed.
Before you can delete
An account cannot be closed while something is open:
- A delivery still in progress — finish or cancel it first.
- A payout being processed — wait for it to arrive.
- Money still in your wallet — withdraw it first.
How to delete
Log in and come back to this page, or open the Sathidaak app and go to Profile → Delete account.
Cannot log in any more? Email info@sathidaak.com from the address on your account, or write from any address with the phone number you signed up with. We will confirm it is you before deleting anything, and reply within 7 days.
